About John Holway
John is an expat and devoted Brit, who has lived in Germany for over 30 years. He lives in Hamburg with his wife and two sons.
Having worked for 20 years as a diplomat he has a career’s worth of experience in writing and delivering speeches and developing connections. John is a student of different cultures, psychology and intercultural relations and fluent in English and German.
He is a member of Toastmasters International, a worldwide public speaking organization, and has been an active member of the Toastmasters community and clubs in Germany. Within Toastmasters, he is a seven time European finalist in competitions, and has achieved the title of champion for spontaneous speeches in 2012 in Bonn and 2013 in Hamburg.
